While I absolutely agree with the sentiment in this video, and see prop 8 as a big step back, in this time of seemingly transformative change I think it’s important to remember that change truly does happen slowly. It was only a few years ago that same-sex marriage was legalized in ANY state – a huge step forward by any progressive standard. Patience, dedication and moral clarity are what will see us through this most recent setback. Stay strong – we shall overcome.
